Effectiveness

Percentage of successful snatch and clean & jerk attempts, separately for each attempt (1st, 2nd, 3rd).

How to read this page?

Assumption: a positive value in the attempt column = successful lift, negative = missed lift, empty/0 = athlete did not attempt this lift. If your database uses a different convention, the results here will be incorrect - please confirm.

Why this is interesting: success rate usually drops from attempt 1 to 3 (athletes lift heavier weights), and the snatch vs clean & jerk split can show where athletes take more risks.

The numbers below the percentage in the table (e.g. "1133/1458") are made/total attempts - i.e. how many attempts were successful out of the total attempts taken for that specific attempt number (e.g. Snatch 2), under the currently applied filters.
